Outing myself as a filthy lib (the Canadian party kind)

I'm an NDPer provincially. But I FINALLY managed to vote in the federal Liberal's leadership race.

Last week I verified myself on the Canada Post Identity+ App but I think my Custom ROM, Sandboxed Google Play Services phone didn't like it. I had to verify a few times before it took hold. The vote hadn't started yet so I thought I was gucci.

Fastforward to the voting period. I go through all the steps and when I get to the voting dashboard?

"No current ballots."

???

I tried again multiple times throughout the week. Same thing, no ballot. I sent multiple e-mails.

The straw that broke the camel's back was allll the e-mails I kept getting from Carney's campaign. "We noticed you haven't voted yet, can we count on your support?" I would have voted within the hour the voting period started, but the process is fucked!!!

I sent a few hail mary e-mails this morning. Got automatic replies saying that I should call their number. I thought about the hour long wait calls people have reported. How people got dropped because the wait was too long. Fuck it, this was too important. Insanely liberal take here, but, our sovereignty was at risk. We need someone good, who can give the Liberals a fighting chance.

So I called. Waited 15 minutes. Got a new code. Bada bing, bada boom, I voted.
